Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Colin O. Halvorson on March 26, 2002:

What does one say about the lost of such a good friend as Bill Griffin. Bill and I were roommates in M-2 for the last two years. He was smart as a whip and I was pulled along by his genius. I remember so many things he did in those days. He loved to play some late evening poker especially with Bruce Bennett Gorham Clark .. BBG as we called him. He loved cars - he purchased a yellow Mustang and could not get anything in it when it was time to depart. I recall so many funny times like when he put the top down on his girl's car and the back window shattered glass all over four of us inside. Times like late night dancing at the old First Class club. Going to New York City and bar hopping like there was no tomorrow. Now he is gone and I miss him very much. I am deeply saddened to think of his passing.
