| We lost another GREAT one!! I was fortunate to bond with Art as he and Cinda arrived in Michigan. His time with General Motors was most impressive as he had a large part in shutting down their Tarrytown Plant in NY. He quickly jumped into our local WP Society and was a key figure in launching the educational tribute to Ypsilanti native Bob Arvin. That scholarship effort resulted in over $100,000 being distributed to high school seniors. Art also had an important role in the DVD documentary about Capt Arvin, "Where the Brave Dare to Tread". SO Well Done, Rest in Peace. |
