Be Thou At Peace

Robert ("Bobby") and I grew up together, from the time we met as 4th-grade classmates in grammar school through high school in Miami. It was a far simpler time than today. Robert was intensely bright, nurtured by loving, caring parents. We were almost inseparable. Robert's love of physical and natural sciences allowed him to excel in school. He had such a beautiful, inquiring mind. Although he did swim his way into the Academy, I'm certain he surpassed even the highest academic standards of that fine institution. I can assure anyone reading this eulogy that he is sorely missed and loved by all who knew him. May God rest your soul for all eternity. |
