Joe was like many Texans-tall, athletic and likeable. He was also very smart and always willing to help other classmates struggling with academics. I remember him best as the dependable center on our company M2 basketball team which won the Brigade championship going undefeated our junior year. Joe also struck me as being an honest and kind person and when I would see him years later at reunions he had remained that same person I had always respected. Joe will be missed by all who knew him as he represented the best in all of us. |
