I was priviledged to have Bernie as a roommate. Because he was older and had some "real world" experience, he was a source of strength for me and others. He had a great sense of humor and was open to new experiences. I learned of his death while I was watching the national news. I looked up and his picture filled the TV screen. How sad to lose my friend, a person with such great potential. How sad, too, for his wife and child. Rest in peace, amigo. |
