Be Thou At Peace

| George: You will be missed my dear friend. I have many wonderful memories of our careers in the years since meeting at the prep school at Ft. Belvoir in 1960-1961. We enjoyed prep school and proceeded to West Point in July 1961. You were always there as a fellow cadet and confidant. We double dated on several occasions and shared some great escapades to New York city and enjoyed our off-duty excursions. You helped me navigate Russian class and I really appreciated that support. After graduation I lost touch as you served your career in the Army while I went back to the Air Force. Through our class reunions we reconnected and since maintained our connection through the modern-day media. You were a great friend, classmate and all-around great person. Rest easy, as you have served your country, friends and family well. Job well done! |
