Be Thou At Peace

| Don and I had many good times - and some ornery ones - back in the day, as roomies our Firsty year. Many trips to Little Rhody were made in our Pontiacs. Later we were classmates at Ft. Sill Field Artillery school where our families spent much time together along with other classmates. I feel very fortunate to have been able to visit with Don and Sharron, along with their son Mark, in Winter Park 30 December 2020. Don and I reminisced for almost two hours before I had to leave, bidding him a fond farewell. Don's quirky smile will eternally resonate in my memory of him. Rest in peace, my Brother...May we meet again. |
