| Hard to write about Step. We will miss him greatly. The one thing about Step starting with our time together at Prep School was his true focus on things that mattered. I admired that focus immensely. In my estimation, its heroes aside, it is people like Step who have made West Point great. Every time he counseled us as our scribe I had to smile. No pretense there. So Step wherever you are I will do my best to continue to live your precepts embodied in the Cadet Prayer. "Suffer not our hatred of hypocrisy and pretense ever to diminish" |
