Jack: Soft spoken Jack. Jack and I were plebes and yearlings together in G-2 )1961-63). Jack was always there to quietly help a classmate. Many years later at a mini-reunion at Las Vegas I had a slowing problem and Dr. Jack immediately came to my aid. In his normal soft spoken way, he gave me assistance and then made several useful suggestions on how to avoid the problem in the future. Unfortunately, that was the last time I saw Jack. I will always wish that our paths had crossed more often, but I have my memories of a friend and helper to all who were in need, Be at peace my friend, |
