Be Thou At Peace

| Bob Mace, Cal Kahara and I were the three guys who spent our first two years in Company L-1 and our last two in Company B-1. Bob was always the quiet guy who would draw my attention with his quick wit and ability to point out what was ludicrous in our cadet lives. He was a steadfast friend throughout our four years. Unfortunately, we never got to serve together; but I could always count on a smile and kind words whenever we would see each other at Reunions and other social gatherings. It can be said of Bob: "Well done! Be thou at peace." |
