Chuck McCloskey captured our joy at listening to Bruce recount his climb in Ireland. Who else would have rented all the equipment needed as well as hire a guide for this adventure? It may not have been as much of a challenge as his climbs on Mt. Kilimanjaro, but it was just as exhilarating for Bruce. I also recall Bruce's technological prowess being put to good use to capture the service for Harry Dermody. Especially significant was that Bruce got Clair Gill's eulogy recorded for posterity. The eulogy was a great tribute to the 'Old Man.' Bruce, you ran a good race. Be thou at peace! |
