Bob Berdan and I were roommates, along with Ed McMillan. Bob was a jock who could sleep for three months then take the PT test and beat me to shreds after I had worked out daily to prepare and barely squeaked by. Bob and I often argued about whose girl was more beautiful. As it turned out, we each married our sweethearts, neither of us giving an inch on our arguments. We were both big winners in that regard. All kidding aside, Bob was a great friend, a supportive friend and a loyal friend. It was a sad day when I learned his life had been cut short. He is missed. |
