Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bob Frank, L-1 & B-1 on June 9, 2011:

Like so many of our Classmates, I knew Frank at West Point, but did not really know him well. He was always upbeat, cheerful and an example of how to deal with the stresses, especially those of the first year. It was after our graduation that I really got to know him. Over the course of 20 years, our paths would cross occasionally and we would have great conversation and a laugh or two. However, thanks to Bob Radcliffe's and Bob Harter's efforts, I was able to see Frank more frequently in the last decade and a half. Class lunches in the Washington area and golf outings became the vehicle for a deepening appreciation of Frank's sterling qualities. I always looked forward to Class gatherings because, among other things, they gave me the opportunity to renew my bond and respect for Frank. He was a joy to be around. I will miss sorely, but I know he is with his Maker. His leaves behind a loving family, for whom I have the deepest sympathies.
