Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Leo Kennedy on June 30, 2011:

The world lost a great Irishman and I lost a good friend and roommate when Frank joined the Irish Brigade in heaven. I remember how cool Frank used to be during our Plebe (Freshman) year. Upperclassmen would come around to check our room and, if they started to question Frank about anything, he would remain cool, unruffled, and calmly answer them. Consequently they would leave him alone and quickly move on to harass some other Plebe that would react to them. I always considered this a great gift and practiced it for many years without ever quite getting to Frank's level of competence. We had a typical West Point relationship after graduation: we'd run into each other every few years and the conversation would start exactly where the last one ended. Frank was cool, smart, and a guy who always offered me his support. I miss you my friend.
