| I was fortunate to be in E-1 with "Johnny" for our last two academy years and to remember and be inspired by his unique combination of kindness and humility while driven by a strong determination and commitment. When I informed Michael O'Grady of Johnny's passing, Michael asked that I pass on for him that Johnny was a genuine Southern Gentleman, a great athlete, and an inspiration to all who knew and played ball with him - and another one of Tony Bullata's recruits. |
