Herb was one of my good friends at West Point. He was fun to be around, reliable - whether needed for an important task or for a worthwhile prank, dedicated and motivated.On the few occasions we were together following graduation, I found he was the same wonderful person I remembered from cadet days, and that he was an exemplary officer. I extend my sympathy to his family. May he rest in peace. |
