| When Bill and I left football behind, we quickly learned that we couldn't "get it out of our system" so we joined the rugby team. Both of us were "second row grunts". No one would think of giving us the ball but pushing the scrum and tackling the other guys came naturally. Bill was a giant, but not gentle, on the rugby pitch. More importantly, he was a great guy who always tried to be a good friend. RIP Bill. |
