Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Sonia Price (Grafmiller) on March 21, 2008:

I don't know why. But I've never forgotten you. You did great things; you went to West Point, you became a United Nations interpreter, and I even heard you went to Harvard for your Masters. Some accomplishments - and 3 beautiful children!!!

But, whenever I remember you, I remember the fair haired boy at Baxter Springs High School. The one I thought the sun rose and set on.

And then in the course of life, I realized you were - "human".

But I always wished you well and you will still be in my thoughts from time to time as the fair haired boy who walked the sunny streets or drove the "sunny" car in the Sunflower State.

Love, Sonia
