Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Don Brady on February 23, 2015:

Jamie and I lived on Fort Jay when his father commanded the 1st US Army. We went to Curtis High School and spent a great deal of time hanging out on the "Rock" as we called the island. I got to know Jamie's mother and sister during this period of time. This was time when there was a small group of teenagers on the island so we all got to know each other pretty well. I considered Jamie a great friend and I knew his dream was to go on to West Point. During our friendship we made many trips to the point.

The last time I saw Jamie was three days before he left for Prep school I will always remember our times together along with the other teenagers on the island. It was great to read that Jamie went on to have a brilliant military career. I would expect nothing less.
