| I had the good fortune of rooming with Hal during our junior year. What a pleasure to be around this remarkable person. He was always cheerful, always helpful, always with a ready smile, and when outside, always in a hurry. When we walked to class, I could never keep up with him. Hal did great things for his family, for West Point and for his country. I am glad to have known him and will never forget him. |
