| Ay, si supieras, Che! Your services to the Class of 1965 and its members were manifold if often unrecognized, but when I think of you it is of our combining voices in bad but enthusiastic performances of Carlos Gardel tangos back in East Barracks (and notably at least one reunion) until Classmates carrying torches and pitchforks gathered and invited us to stop. It is of your warmth and irrepressible good humor. It is of your principled outrage at injustice everywhere. I treasure my many memories of our friendship and will see you on the other side, amigo! |
