Mary and I share in the grief of Donna and the family, to whom we convey deepest condolences. The loss of Rick is a major one for the Class. While each Classmate is dear to the rest of us, Rick played such a large role in the life of our Class at this point in our history. As is known, the Class of '65 has been a very tight Class, one which has been blessed to have great leaders and others who have made the investment to ensure that the Class remains cohesive. These guys (and many Class spouses) have demonstrated all those qualities we think about when we hear such words as "The Long Gray Line stiffens and strengthens." As Bob Doughty observed in ending his history of the Class, we have lived Duty, Honor, Country as well as, STRENGTH AND DRIVE. None more so than Rick Bunn. Well done, my friend! You are now with Chops and all our departed Classmates and their spouses. |
