| I FIRST MET RICK AT A MINI-REUNION IN ARIZONA. HE MADE ME FEEL WELL ACCEPTED AND SPECIAL BEING THE ONLY 2ND REGIMENT CLASSMATE THERE! THAT WAS SOME 10 YEARS AGO. HIS WORDS TO ME WERE " JACK, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE 2ND REGIMENT YOU ARE WELCOMED AND SO FAR YOU HAVE FITTED-IN WELL!" CERTAIN PEOPLE HAVE THAT QUALITY TO MAKE OTHERS FEEL MORE IMPORTANT THAN ONESELF,.RICK WAS ONE OF THOSE. THANKS RICK FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART! REST IN PEACE WITH OUR LORD! |
