Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Mike Connor on October 24, 2016:

I learned today of John's passing. I was fortunate to know him very well as he and Donna lived very close to me in Orange County, California.

John is one of those extraordinary warrior's for LOVE that come along very rarely these days. John is always there for all of us, especially his West Point classmates and their significant others who love him like we do.

Yes, I am using present tense to describe my BOOROOBUDDY4LIFE, John because I know he is now looking out for all of us from heaven. No one deserves to be there more than John. He taught me that there is life after this life by his daily example, by his wonderful sense of humor and by his constant friendship and LOVE in good times and in bad.

Having gone through some serious traumatic times in the past few years John was for me a constant source of good humor and cheer. He lifted me up more than I knew was possible.

I will look forward to talking with him on a daily basis as we discuss all the significant issues that make life so challenging on our very troubled planet. And, yes you can be sure he joins our other Guardian Angels from our great class who will be watching over us ever day until it is our turn to join them in heaven.

P.S.: John knows this already: BOOROOBUDDY4LIFE are those who love one another unconditionally no matter what, We do so not just in this life but in our eternal life together in heaven.

Much LOVE John and you won't be resting ever,
Your BOOROOBUDDY4ALLETERNITY,
Mike
