Bob, It has been some trip with you. We shared several classes together at West Point, and no one could entertain and make us laugh in the classroom like you. You had an uncanny way of keeping the instructors off balance and not get into trouble at the same time. How the combination of Selkis and Zais ever survived is a mystery to this day. I am ever so grateful that I was able to join you at the 2015 Affirmation Ceremony for Cdts. Sherer and West at the Coast Guard Academy along with Terry Ryan and Jim Ferguson. You gave a wonderful speech and we felt so proud of our small contribution to our Affiliation Class, and probably the most serious that you ever were! It was a special connecting moment and I thank you for having shared it. Until we meet again, Russ Campbell. |
