Although I have never met you, I have been privileged to know your son Ryan. It is clear that you had been a role model for him. I met Ryan when he offered to lift me in a wheelchair with others so that I could attend class during my freshman year at Carnegie Mellon. And he had been a great friend to me ever since. Through Ryan's compassion for others and service to our country, I am inspired to contribute my efforts as a civilian. As a fellow citizen, I appreciate the sacrifices of you and other brave men and women in our military. My thoughts and prayers are with the DeJonckheere family. Michelle |
