Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bill Bergman on January 8, 2013:

When I first met Terry during Plebe Year, 1962, it was his Dutch name that drew me to him. An immigrant from The Netherlands, I had received my American citizenship only two years before, and was culturally still a stranger among those who grew up an entire childhood as Americans.

Different Company assignments happened, and I lost track of him, but he resurfaced again here and there during the four years, recognizable by his smarts, his brilliance and his ever cheerful character. He must have been one heck of a good engineer.

It was a privilege to have been his Classmate.
