Terry was my room mate first half of yearling year. He and I became close friends, sharing secrets about our childhoods and dreaming of the future. He invited me to visit his family at Wright-Patterson AFB during Christmas break 1963, which I accepted; he even fixed me up with his beautiful sister Diane. Unfortunately our paths never crossed after graduation, since he went Air Force and I went infantry. But I'll always remember his positive, cheerful attitude and words of encouragement. Terry was one of the good guys! |
