John and I roomed together for the better part of 2 years in Company E-2 and I have many fond memories of our times together even after all these years. Two primary things stand out in my mind today. First, John was one of the most loyal and honest friends I have ever had. Secondly, he was one of the smartest persons I have ever met and he always took the time to help others, like me, who were not as gifted as he was. Had he not helped me through some of our engineering courses like he did, there's a good chance I never would have graduated. Rest in peace, my friend. I will remember you always. gary |
