Gary Jackson, Doug to his parents in Piqua, Ohio, was a fine man of deep faith. He died in 1972 as a result of wounds incurred in Viet Nam. Always positive, a strong intellect, and believed there was good in all of us. He was best man at my wedding to Mary Katherine Kuca in Piqua, Ohio in 1965. My then best friend, always there, always encouraging. Missed to this day. Honor, faith, commitment, always faithful. He will never die to us in spirit, and an example to us all. Sorely missed, even now. Oh, the costs of needless and unnecessary wars! James R Lowell |
