John -- Life is full of random things. Only today, in an idle moment, I googled your name because I had spoken of you recently to friends. The last time you and I spoke was over 40 years ago. What a shock to have found you here. We were battalion mates (2LTs) in the 1st Signal Battalion in Neu Ulm, Germany in '67. I was speaking with friends recently about you because my memories remained fresh and pleasant after all of these years. Its a crime to die so young. We had you pegged as an "up and comer."
