I knew "Skip" when we were at Massanutten Military Academy, we knew of his intense desire to go to West Point, he was a wonderful young man, always kind, always ready to help, he cut a great figure in our 44 button full cadet dress uniforms. We loved him. How proud we were when he got into West Point. Another wonderful classmate at MMA in my 1962 Class, WO1 Julian "Jack" Fincher was shot down in his Huey by a RPG Jan.23,1967. I still see them as they were. At every reunion they are remembered with pride and tears. God was indeed kind to me and my Classmates to have the privilege of having their friendship.
