Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Ed Hathaway on August 10, 2014:

Although not in the same company at West Point, we frequently shared tables in the mess hall as plebes. On several Wednesday nights we had to do skits to get a "fall out" on steak night. He always came up with a really funny skit to amuse the upperclassmen. One was a "trick" in which we put a bag over the table commanders tie,cut it near the top, and pulled the bag down while looking amazed that..it did not work and the tie was cut in half!!(Then we gave him a new tie!!!) Funny!! From then on he was a good friend and always the great sense of humor!! A good friend and brother of '66.
