Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Robert Catlin, Jr. on June 13, 2013:

Don was a West Point classmate and a good friend in our last two years. Don was a very easy going person with a wry sense of humor. We got along well even though we were in different companies. Don bought a Pontiac GTO and I bought an MGB during our Firstie year. During the summer after graduation we drove to car races in the Northeast where we drank some beer and slept in a tent. I was in Germany when Don was killed in Vietnam and news of his untimely death was devastating. Don was a very good man who had a lot to offer. It's too bad he never had the chance.
