Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Peyton Ligon on March 15, 2013:

I will never forget the day as Firsties, that we received the keys to our new car!! Jim Lee, Howie, and myself (C3), all walked up to the North Parking Lot above Michie Stadium, on a sunny but cool day in April, I remember. After we received the keys, most of us just sat in the car, playing with all the knobs, etc., and then drove off since we had about one hour to drive off post and then be back for formation. As Jim Lee and myself started to drive off, we noticed Howie sitting in his car, so we stopped to look over Howie's new car. When we asked Howie where he was going to drive to, that is when he told us that he had never driven a car, and was not sure what to do now. After a few lessons by Jim and myself, Howie was a fast learner, and was able to take his new car for a test drive. After that, Howie was hooked on driving!

Rest at Peace Howie...... Rest At Peace.
