Be Thou At Peace

| Pete was the first member of '67 I knew as we went to high school together in a dependent's high school in Naples, Italy in the early '60's. Don't know who was more surprised when we ran into each other during Plebe year. Didn't see much of him at WP since he was a Second Regiment guy and I was First. Five of us who were in high school together met at A/N '63 in Philly (Pete, his date, a Mid, his date, and I) at the Ben Franklin. Had a good time despite how we were robbed in the game. Pete had a fine sense of humor and the ladies loved him. Unfortunately, we went our separate ways after WP, but I'll never forget his ready smile and easy manner. Be Thou at Peace brother. |
