Lee was in Cadet Company F-1, all four years, and was a great classmate. He was always cheerful, working hard, and watching out for classmates. I ran into Lee one time on active duty. I was TDY around Feb 1985 to Alaska for a week. To my surprise, I bumped into Lee at Fort Richardson and I will always remember an evening there with Lee and Ginny. Lee was XO of an IN Bn at Fort Richardson; they had me to their quarters for Ginny's wonderful food and plenty of drink. We enjoyed one F-1 story after another, and Lee talked about how happy he was helping run an infantry battalion. Lee - we will miss you; you were a great friend, soldier, and family man. Well done, be thou at peace. |
