Be Thou At Peace

Posted by SFC Joshua Ferguson on October 29, 2007:

"All day, every day", this is what Claude told me one day in PT. Claude was an inspiration and a mentor. Initially I was not all that receptive to people whom I did not know in the hospital. I was a recent amputee and pretty heavily medicated, Claude endured and helped me to realize that no matter how you may feel, no matter how you look at it, any day is a good day. He devoted his life to helping others make a better transition in life than was offered himself and his peers during their times of hardship. We joked about how he was going to have to come up to Alaska to visit and watch me jump when I get back on status. I am not nearly as eloquent as those who have posted previously so I will leave it with this.

Claude was good people who truly cared. You will be missed brother, until we meet again....
"All day, Every day, AIRBORNE!"
