Thomas Albert Dellwo

West Point, 1969

Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Michael Kramer on May 20, 2013:

This past weekend Thomas' sister's son married my niece in Colton, Washington. I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Thomas' father Jim, a former US Army World War II veteran, who made passing mention of his son. His humility and understatedness were evident.

Internet research into the life and times of Lt. Thomas Dellwo should make us all appreciative of his service and ultimate sacrifice.

Thomas Dellwo was an outstanding student, athlete, and leader having graduated from Choteau High School in 1964. His appointment to The United State Military Academy remains a great honor for his family, school, and community.

To the men and women of the Vietnam War....thank you all...your service, dedication to national purpose, and ultimate sacrifice have helped carve a moral map for our military and civilian leadership that endures today.
