Bill Rice showed us how to love. Love our country, love our soldiers, love our families, love one another, love right values. He never stopped giving himself to all these loves. He always put his own needs behind the needs of all those he loved. We who were privileged to know his love have lost a great benefactor, a great leader, a great role model, and a great teacher. He was a central pillar in so many lives, that it keeps being difficult to accept his absence. With the passage of time, we will get used to his absence, but we will not adjust to it. The hole in our lives that was Bill Rice will remain. |
