As you can see my name is Virginia Lawrence. My husband William A. Lawrence, Jr. was one of the soldiers under the leadership of Col. Snell in the Republic of Panama, 1982. Col. Snell was one of the greatest officers I had ever met. He was dedicated to his career, protected womanhood and promoted manhood. The soldiers respected him as a genuine soldier with amazing strength, professionalism and being a family-oriented gentleman. All of the soldier's spouses knew they could depend on Michael G. Snell to keep their husbands in line. My husband and I were talking about what a great man he was. I decided to look him up on the net. You cannot imagine the pain I felt when we pulled his name up and learned he had passed. Wm. & Virginia Lawrence loved Colonel Michael G. Snell. So sorry for your loss!! |
