Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bill Bahr, USMA '69 on May 21, 2007:

From the "Howitzer" - 1969

"Edwin Alexander Watson, Jr., Chattanooga, Tennessee, G-2

"Even though Wally has decided to become the Army's most famous spy, he hasn't been able to disguise himself as James Bond yet. He still shows through as a Southern gentleman, with a flair for guitars, sports cars, and pretty girls. Wally never had trouble with academics, but he always had time for those who did. He'll make a great contribution to the Army. Mata Hari never even went to West Point, and look how good she did.

"German Club 3, 2, 1; 'Howitzer' 2, 1; Outdoor Sportsman's Club 3. Military Intelligence."

"Assembly" Memorial Article: May/June 1999. Remembered in Memorial Book, Association of Graduates, Herbert Hall (2nd Fl), West Point.

USMA classmate, may you rest in peace.
