Be Thou At Peace

| Terry was my roommate at a Catholic military boarding school in Aurora, Illinois. To no one's surprise he was our senior cadet officer (Cadet Colonel) our final year. An excellent student, a class leader, and a good guy. No reunion has gone by without a few fond memories of the times we all spent with him. He personified leading by example and set a high bar for everyone in his command. He was one of those people for whom the sky was no limit and I recall clearly the day he received his appointment to the Academy. One happy guy. I have been moved to stand at his grave a couple times through the years and was privileged to know him in life as well. Rest in peace, Terry. |
