Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Larry Sadoff on July 17, 2020:

Although I have known Len since our earliest days at West Point, it was not until we both attended the Naval War that our friendship truly matured. During our year at Newport, Len and I both coached out children's soccer team, hosted family barbeques, and for three months worked daily, side by side, on a research project. I could not have asked for a better research partner. On our free time we engaged in animated discussions on a myriad of topics- be they personal, family, professional and political. Spending as much time as we did in this relatively relaxed setting gave me the opportunity to get to know Len quite well and appreciate his many outstanding qualities.

By any standard or measure, Len was a remarkable individual whom I was proud to call a friend. He will be missed as a husband, father, grandfather, colleague and classmate. Those of us who knew Len are better off for having had Len in in our lives.

Be thou at peace my friend.
