Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bill Bahr, USMA '69 on May 12, 2007:

"Thomas Pickett King, Westbury, New York, H-4

"After a year at Georgia Tech, Pick was able to take West Point in stride and stayed on the Dean's List while picking parachutes. Dividing his time between the parachute team and a strong attraction for the brown boy, Pick's ability under a parachute was surpassed only by his ability with the fairer sex. Never one to be called gray, this Airborne trooper should go far in his Army Career.

"Sport Parachute Team 4, 3, 2, Club Safety Officer 1; Spanish Club 3, 2, 1; Rocket Society 3, 2, 1; Military Affairs Club 3. Infantry."

"Assembly" Memorial Article: Winter '72. Remembered in Memorial Book, Association of Graduates, Herbert Hall (2nd Fl), West Point.

USMA classmate, may you rest in peace.
