Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Bill Bahr, USMA '69 on April 21, 2019:

STEPHEN JAMES WILLIAMS, Cincinnati, Ohio, G-4
From the "Howitzer" -- 1969

Steve is a drop-out from New Mexico Military Institute. He wanted a change of scenery, so he traded gila monsters for granite walls. While maintaining himself in the upper half of the class, late at night and late in the morning you could hear his roommates calling, "Williams go to bed it's after midnight," or "Williams get up it's time to go to class." While in the real Army before Woo Poo, he got stuck on tubes and plans to go back to the sands of Fort Sill for his Basic Officer Course.

KDET 4, 3; Fine Arts Forum 3, 2, Publicity Chairman 1; Mountaineering Club 3. Field Artillery.

USMA classmate, may you rest in peace.
