| Harry was a good guy - one of the original good guys. As his company mate in D-2 and then H-2, I remember Harry always seemed to be older than his years, and wiser than (many of) the rest of us. Never one to need the spotlight, always there to help with school problems, car problems, any and all problems, he truly fit the description of "friend" at a time when we were just learning about true, life-long friendship. I remember when I heard about his untimely death...I cried, and it hurts me to this day thinking about him, this little man who was, in body, about half my size, but his heart was clearly twice the size of mine. I have never forgotten him, nor will I ever. Rest in peace Harry, I'm a better man for having known you. Your Pal and Classmate, Dick |
