DR. LARRY ALAN LEMASTER

Dr. Larry Alan Lemaster 69, passed away peacefully on Thursday Oct. 27, 2016 in Sanford Centennial Hospice in Sioux Falls S.D.

Larry was born June 24, 1947, in Canova S.D., to Elroy and Dorothy (Tuttle) Lemaster.

His formal education began at West Point military academy NY 1969 -B.S. He then served three years in the U.S. Army. Larry then attended the University of Washington Seattle 1973 - Premed; and later the University of South Dakota Vermillion SD 1978 - MD.

Most of his adult life was spent in Duluth, where he was an outstanding family practice physician for many decades. Duluth is also where he met and later married Kimberly Lindman in 1988.

Larry relished his many hobbies: Running, skiing, hunting, fishing, and sled dogs, to name a few.

His parents, Dorothy, and Elroy "Stretch" and brother Dick "Tree" Lemaster, preceded him in death.

Survived by his wife, Kimberly; their children, Libby Westman (Thomas), Maxine (fianc Jordan Else) and Sylvie; his brother, David (Angie) Lemaster; a sister, Janet (Dale) Hill; many nieces, nephews, lifelong friends; and of course, dear pets, Maile and Jazz.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 10 a.m. Saturday Oct. 29, in Miller Funeral Home Southside Chapel, 7400 S. Minnesota Avenue, Sioux Falls, S.D. If you're involved in your annual field sport during the timing of this event, Kim is certain that Larry would not want to interfere, but rather have you think of him while out there and would simply say "Happy Hunting!" In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to SD Sportsmen Against Hunger.
