When I was 13 years old, I joined Boy Scout Troop 825 at Little Rock AFB. I was placed in the Rattlesnake Patrol. Brian was my Patrol Leader. He always brought his big dog Rusty along on our camp outs and his father, Col. Harry Morrill USAF, would haul us to and from the camp grounds in his 1961 VW Bug. Imagine hauling 3 stinky/muddy Scouts and a big Irish Setter in a VW Bug ! Those were great times ! Semper Fi, Robert Zerby ( former 1st Lt USMC ) |
