Be Thou At Peace

Posted by Fred Dibella on May 14, 2014:

Irish was my roommate yearling year, because for some reason I "got" Portuguese and he didn't....so I helped him pass that language and in return, he taught me how to smoke.

Fast forward a couple of years to when we ordered our cars firsty year. Irish talked me into a sweet little Triumph GT6+. Prettiest little car I've ever seen, let alone owned. Too bad I drove it into the ground....He wrote my yearbook bio, and grossly exaggerated any conceivable qualities I may have.

Irish was in my wedding after graduation. He was there to add his wonderful sense of humor and zest for life to the proceedings.

He left us far too soon, but while he was here, he crammed every drop of happiness and goodness he could into life. I so looked forward to seeing him at our reunion this Oct......it won't be the same without him.

Farewell old friend.
